The Green Book (Paperback)

The Green Book lays out the social and political philosophy of Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi. Gaddafi was a revolutionary who gained power in 1969 via coup d’état, freeing his country from Western control.

In this book, Gaddafi rejects both capitalism and communism and promotes a system of government whereby the people rule themselves via a form of direct democracy. He wanted everyone to read his book because he believed his philosophy could change the way humanity governed itself, in order to make the world a better place.

In this edition of The Green Book, Lucas Gage edits the original text by changing the spelling of words from British to American English, revises the punctuation and format to make it easier to read, and adds a new introduction.
