The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion was first published by in 1905 by Sergei Nilus, a Russian Orthodox priest, with a copy of his work being received in the British Museum on August 10, 1906.

Nilus’ work was translated from Russian to English by Victor E. Marsden, a Russian correspondent to the London-based Morning Post, from which this book is based.

In this edition, Lucas Gage provides an introduction, revises the punctuation and format of Marsden’s work, updates the older English vernacular to modern day, and edits the text by changing the spelling of words from British to American English.

The paragraphs within each protocol have been numbered in order to provide the reader easy reference.
